Bits of Stock - B2B Fintech - Product Designer

Bits of Stock empowers Financial Institutions to bundle banking with fractional investing. Boost deposits and card engagement with fractional stocks as rewards, round-ups, and investments.

Since September 2024 my main responsibilities have been:

- Working with the Head of Design, Product Manager and Developers to conceptualise, refine and test existing and new features on the B2B FI platform.

- Implementing and managing A/B user testing to backup design decisions with qualitative and quantitative data. Using platforms such as 'Maze' to recruit and test participants. Analysing heat maps, responses, drop off rates and time to complete flows.

- Performing Heuristics, SWOT Analysis and devising CBM's to position new products. Presenting findings to stakeholders and the team during weekly business report sessions.

- Utilising GA4 Data to better understand users wants, needs and pain points whilst engaging with the platform.

- Daily stand-up and communication in Slack and Google.

- Attending Backlog refinement and Scrum sessions using Jira / Notion.

- Utilising MUI and in-house design systems, style guides within Figma to create high fidelity component sets ready for development.

- Wireframing, ideating and prototyping new user journeys whilst maintaining open, critical and productive dialogue with the rest of the team to make sure features are feasible and viable.

- Working in Framer and HTML/CSS to update the company website. Focusing on the CMS, styling, component sets and navigation. Also designing product pages that showcase new B2B packages.
